Many people like to customize their PCs to the smallest details – from the desktop background, icons, color, even how programs and browsers appear. That brings a lot of fun and helps you feel unique and different from the others.
However, what if some of these features need to be restored to their defaults or, to be precise, what if you need to change some of them to default values and reset their themes, such as Google Chrome, for instance.
In that case, you need to do a few operations that will bring things to the beginning and let you have a fresh start.
How to Remove a Theme from Chrome
- As it is usually the case with Google Chrome, the majority of its management starts with “Google Chrome Menu”. You need to enter it
and select “Settings”,
or type “chrome://settings/” into the “Chrome Omnibox” and press Enter.
- In the newly opened window, find “Appearance”,
click on “Reset to default”, and you are done.
You have successfully removed your Google Chrome theme.
