Dark mode, available in a variety of applications, programs, and websites, such as YouTube, is a handy thing that may help you get a better viewing experience if you often spend your time in front of the computer monitor in the dark. Also, some users simply prefer this mode because it looks more attractive to them and more up to their character or just their taste.
No matter what the reason is, that change can be easily done and everything you need to do is read the guidelines that follow, and you will have a cool-looking YouTube in no time.
How to Enable Dark Mode on YouTube
- As mentioned, the process of enabling the YouTube “Dark mode” is super-easy and requires you to enter YouTube. Click on your “Google account” image
and in a drop-down menu, go to “Dark Theme: Off”.
- After that, you need to toggle the little circle to the right, in the newly opened window
and wait for the magic to happen.
- If you aren’t signed in to your “Google account”, you can sign-in and follow the above process, or simply change the YouTube to “Dark Mode”, without signing-in.
- In order to do that, you need to go to “Settings” (three little dots in the upper right corner), click on them
and in the drop-down menu select “Dark Theme: Off”
and after that, toggle the little circle to the right, similar to the previous example, and that is it. Your YouTube will now be in “Dark Mode”.
